Nairobi Jack and the Lost Gold of the Atlantimengani – 02 Visions of Atlantis

In this episode’s cast spotlight we feature Daniel Taylor who plays Professor William McKinley Martin, the instigator of the expedition to the Malatezi Escarpment!

Daniel began with ARTC in 1988 as Foley artist, creating and performing live sound effects for stage and tape productions, beginning with Dragon*Con 2 (The Dunwich Horror, in which he likes to say he played the title role). His name appears in the sound effects credits of most of ARTC’s early releases.

This whetted his appetite to write. In addition to creating and writing the popular series Bumpers Crossroads, he currently concentrates on adaptations, such as Robert A Heinlein’s Solution Unsatisfactory, Henry Lee Forrest’s Special Order and Robert Louis Stevenson’s Doctor Jekyll and Mister Hyde. He has also worked with Thomas E. Fuller to create audio versions of Mr. Fuller’s stage plays Throne of Shadows and An Atlanta Christmas.”

He continues to be dazzled by the calibre of people with whom he associates through ARTC.

A former English teacher, Eric is now a professional film and theater actor. Favorite performances around town include Francis in Forever Plaid (Marietta Theatre Company), Felix Ungar in The Odd Couple (Magari Theatre Company) and Lysander in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Shakespeare Tavern). Eric is represented by Kathleen Schultz Associates, and his website is

Look for more performer features as the series goes on! And remember, the Centauri Express will come to you twice each month now on the second and fourth Thursday…barring disaster.
